Use All Drop Down Items

        When searching, use all the drop down list items to your advantage.  The description and alternate part
       number searches are particularly useful when searching for semiconductors.

Values

If you are seeking a specific value component, enter the value in the search box.  For example, to find all 1uF capacitors, enter "1.0uf capacitor" - click search - and a list of all available 1uF capacitors is returned.  The search will return other values, but 1uF capacitors will be displayed first.

Partial part numbers

No need to worry about prefixes and suffixes.  Entering a partial part number will return all items with the search phrase contained in the part number.  This is very useful in searching for transistors and integrated circuits.
